STATEMENT
The works of Anna Botticini find a genesis in a desert, hostile environment, in which the Human Being, reduced to the minimum terms, moves and attempts to make a radical investigation into the mechanisms of existence.
All relationships always have, relegated to the recesses of their nature, something morbidly obsessive, intensely cruel.
Tragedy begins to develop its morbidities through this Human Being, never fully accustomed to company, having to answer first of all for their existence, but at the same time not even disposed to complete solitude.
This Human will never be able to elude the laws of unadaptableness, they will never be able to remedy their archaic disharmony, nor synchronize their own oscillations with those of his double, with those of the other, with those of the world.
Therefore, in the lowest area of themself, an ancient residue of original anger remains deposited, an aggressiveness derived from their nature as a paradox, a principle of universal rancor; and in this mass of incomprehensible torment they feels abandoned and disoriented.
Despite this impossibility of fully understanding the ultimate Meaning, the essence of things, the Human Being still tries to give answers to the mysteries that are revealed only in the form of nameless epiphanies, atmospheres, impressions.
